Introduction

In order to improve the health of the people living in the North Central Province and ensure health security, projects aimed at implementing awareness programs, practical training, workshops, etc. at the Grama Niladhari Division level covering all Divisional Secretariat Divisions through Ayurvedic Community Health Medical Officers, providing the necessary infrastructure to bring about positive changes in lifestyle in accordance with Ayurvedic principles to improve the quality of life, and implementing necessary health facilities and health consultation services for the people who have difficulty in accessing health facilities are being implemented under this.

These programs are being implemented under seven zones covering 29 Divisional Secretariat Divisions.

  6. Identifying, developing and regulating authentic traditional medical knowledge.
